Chocolate Cake

How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings! They feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give them drink from Your river of delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.…Psalm 36:7-9



My prayer to you that the abundance of His blessings saturates your heart and your soul. That you may drink from the stream of His delights, and the flow of His grace that comes down from Heaven raining "fertilizing showers" - "fatness" from His throne.

Ingredients:
Cake ingredients
1 and a half cup of flour
Half a cup of raw cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Half a teaspoon of baking soda
Pinch of salt
A third of a cup of oil
1 egg
Vanilla
A cup of only a quarter of milk
Half a cup of hot water


Chocolate sauce topping ingredients
Half a cup of cocoa
A cup of only a quarter of sugar
3 tablespoons of flour
A cup and a quarter of milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon of oil
Vanilla

Pistachio Mastic Ice cream

Leviticus 2:14 May all this new year be a true devotion for you Lord, offering you firstfruits with the right heart to be a sweet aroma to You .  Ingredients 4 cup whole milk. 1/2 cup cornstarch. 1 cup sugar- or to taste. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon ground mastic gum. 2 cup heavy whipping cream. Pistachios - depending on your taste I n s t r u c t i o n s In a pot, add milk, sugar, salt and cornstarch mixing very well until there is no lumps left. Put the pot on medium heat, keep stirring until it starts to bubble. Add the mastic powder, keep stirring, until it gets thick and creamy. Turn off the heat, cover and let it cool down until it reaches room temperature. Beat the whipping cream, until it reaches stiff peak.
